That was probably true for a number of the national team players for both genders but please feel free to educate me to the contrary. Though it probably did not hurt play ups at all if they were early half birthdays for their own age.[/quote] Some did and do. Some didn't and don't. For example, an amazing player who has been on the YNT for years plays at age. Playing up is a tool that can help and also hurt development. [/quote]
