I’m sorry you didn’t have great experiences until you were older. I think the thing that helped me is that I was pretty vocal. I’ve always been open about what I want, what feels good, what doesn’t, and what would make it better. Maybe I was too young to realize that’s not how some people roll. I can remember being with new partners in my 20s who would comment on how open/vocal I was about my wants and needs. I’m not saying you did things wrong, but being open seemed to help. If I’d waited until I was older and trying to impress guys and find a husband instead of just having fun and feeling good, I might have been more inhibited. [/quote]
