It had a yield of 70% last year and more than 40,000 kids were rejected; I'm sure the vast majority of them would have loved a slot. She went to a private h/s where attendance at an Ivy league or similar school was the goal for most kids and probably job metric for college counselors (one of those schools that publishes college destinations for the class in the alumni magazine each summer). It was defin. a unique move and I was proud of her for following her own path. [/quote]
