+1, was content, not happy at all. Reconsider about life partnership.  I'm sad, but it is hard if the other person is not interested in even saying hello or good bye to you.  They just want you to comply to what they need which I understand it seems to be a very small ask like going to the company party or family gathering and pretend we are ok.  It is a lot to someone who has been unhappy, it would involve drugs.
I love our children so there's that.

Yes, I'm the PP and I have been thinking really hard about whether we even have a relationship anymore. I keep going back and forth though, and I wonder if I just tried harder, it would make it better.  Because sometimes I don't know if he's being intentionally cruel and neglectful, or he's just hopelessly clueless.  But I feel like throughout the relationship, I have always been the one making the effort to make it better, and I've gotten to a point where I'm just tired of trying and realizing maybe it's just not that important to him.  No greetings.  No encouragement.  When I'm involved with something or accomplish something, he has a way of mocking it instead of being supportive.  Has never arranged a date for us.  Never remembers our anniversary.  [/quote]
