A student’s attendance record can’t be a factor used to determine whether a student can apply to a selective high school. FWIW when that was used by one of at least one of the high schools, excused and unexcused absences, were countered. A kid who dealt with a serious illness but was otherwise a good student considered was out of luck. [/quote]
