^ You mean well and I thought you were going somewhere but -for the love of god- you do not get it. Competitive teams at the younger ages with the LARGEST player pool by far of any other Club in the DMV. It's all physicality based. It's NOT development which is the point of youth DA. They still will take kids developed elsewhere in the older age groups. This is by no means an argument for keeping them.
That could be. Maybe. But DCU isn't doing anything of value either. They live off of being an MLS affiliated DA. My main point is the two are at least level. They are just living off of a player pool they don't Coach well. Bethesda and BA are another story. I agree on those two. So if Arlington isn't the answer. DCU is also a tragedy. Nova needs another option.
So much Arlington hate. We get, your kid didn’t make it. Clearly the club must suck. Get over it and move on.
I was defending Arlington's legitimate claim to a full boys'DA. But have it your way.
Ha ha. That’s always an Arlington parents retort to anyone that comments negatively. If you read the posts you will see people arguing against all Club DA. Arl was brought up as an example for Club DA and posters commented on why it doesn’t work and those reasons apply to almost all Club DA. USSF was pulling them for the development reasons. Clubs have an inherent conflict of interest when they also a DA. The arrogance of Arlington parents always makes it about them. I guarantee the poster that keeps bringing up keeping it at Arlington is, of course, an Arlington parent.
Then you would be wrong. I am not an Arlington parent.
