What a bizarre, hateful post.  It's logical.  He didn't say what level she wants to play at, but unless she is shooting for DA or ECNL, it's a good choice. If she does want DA or ECNL, then obviously Barca isn't a good fit.  Not all families want to travel the continental U.S. for U13 and at that age, a smaller developmental club makes sense.

Arlington favors direct play.  Alexandria might be a good choice.  I think their Futsal emphasis suggests a more technical style of play, if that location is a good fit.  I don't remember SYC or Vienna being a possession/midfield style. [/quote]

First, at those ages, you primarily develop technical skills.  Formations are different than 11v11 formations.  Midfield play has a different nature between 7v7 or 9v9 and 11v11.  The best environments at those ages that would produce capable midfield players are, [b]based on historical information [/b](seeing players at older ages coming out of these programs and producing at a high level) and not wishcasting:

FCV, McLean, Alexandria, Bethesda, Herndon

Loudoun and Arlington are great at producing forwards, backs, and keepers.  [/quote]
