Lol. Rather predictably, yet another Barca Academy recruiting topic. The snootiness about midfield play gives it away every time. So easy to spot every time a topic like this comes up.
What a bizarre, hateful post. It's logical. He didn't say what level she wants to play at, but unless she is shooting for DA or ECNL, it's a good choice. If she does want DA or ECNL, then obviously Barca isn't a good fit. Not all families want to travel the continental U.S. for U13 and at that age, a smaller developmental club makes sense. Arlington favors direct play. Alexandria might be a good choice. I think their Futsal emphasis suggests a more technical style of play, if that location is a good fit. I don't remember SYC or Vienna being a possession/midfield style.
No hate, brother. Just reality. This isn’t the first topic that has been used that way. Very insidious behavior. It was more honest when the pumping came within your own thread.
How many kids have you lost to Barca coach?
Barca must be a problem for him to be so prickly about that. So much hostility
Lmao. Same playbook every time from you Barca folks when someone merely points out that you are trying to boost your club. So paranoid.
Ok, you have the stage. Name the 5 best clubs in the region for midfield development for a 9-12 year old.
First, at those ages, you primarily develop technical skills. Formations are different than 11v11 formations. Midfield play has a different nature between 7v7 or 9v9 and 11v11. The best environments at those ages that would produce capable midfield players are, based on historical information (seeing players at older ages coming out of these programs and producing at a high level) and not wishcasting: FCV, McLean, Alexandria, Bethesda, Herndon Loudoun and Arlington are great at producing forwards, backs, and keepers.
Are the same coaches still at those clubs though? Still working with the same age groups?
