Does anyone know whether MCPS is starting universal screening for the HS programs this year? Also, what test is used? Did it switch to COGAT?
Let's not focus on the negativity in this thread. For criteria based programs such as Poolsville/Blair and RM IB magnets, it is a common application that needs to be submitted. Testing is on Dec 7th. It is Cogat based. 9 battery tests. Along with the test, many other input go in (MAP test scores, GPA, their course selection, and pathway, teacher recs, awards) etc. It is race and school blind but they do consider programs such as FARMS).
