[/quote] There is a lot of bias here -' like only Asian kids get good scores? I will acknowledge. there is a tension. Many kids in the magnet (primarily Asian kids) prep and enrich extensively. I suppose that helps scores. But, they are not the only high scorers. And this is tgeir (or more likely) their parents' investment. My kuds' friends must practice instruments hours a day but may not choose a music career. So, with that kind of baggage and agenda, you can't just throw out this notion of Asian kids holding everyone else up by sheer btilliance. Why not consider that all of these kids are in it together....[/quote]
