LMVSC hasn't been relevant in a long time, maybe ever.  No issues with a parent getting excited about them winning, but I agree with the previous post that this age group is very strong in the area.   I'm actually shocked to see Loudoun at the bottom, do they post who they played?  I poked around out of curiosity but it looks like schedules are only viewable moving forward. I think Loudoun's top team may have become weakened with the departure of players due to their loss of the DA.  Some of those players left for VDA.  With the loss of those players and having to pull the better players from the top CCL, the teams going from small sided to full field, that second team became naturally weaker.[/quote]

The past few years their second teams have not been as strong as expected from their large player pool.  I think Alexandria and SYC may be the teams to beat in the area outside of DA.  [b]The Alexandria team may be better than some of the DA teams[/b].[/quote]

Someone clearly has not seen DA teams play. Boys non-DA squads will offer fine competition at club and in HS, but don’t be fooled into thinking the level of play is even close to the DA. That matter has been settled for several years now...[/quote]

All the local boys 07 DA teams last year are on youtube.  You can find them easily.  Their games are a pretty mixed bag, as you would expect at that age (especially early in the year, as they learned to play together).  If you have not seen these other non-DA teams play, you may want to reserve judgment. Some pretty good kids left the DAs to play at some of these non-DA teams.   Most DA kids aren't going to last in the DA or well beyond, at least outside DCU and Bethesda.  If you are talking much older DA players, where growth has evened out and true talent has emerged, then your point about DA v. non-DA is at its strongest obviously.[/quote]
