There are many other good teams in that age group/division so it's too early to cheer.  SYA, Alexandria, Herndon, and Arlington are all very good teams.  Too early.[/quote]

LMVSC hasn't been relevant in a long time, maybe ever.  No issues with a parent getting excited about them winning, but I agree with the previous post that this age group is very strong in the area.   I'm actually shocked to see Loudoun at the bottom, do they post who they played?  I poked around out of curiosity but it looks like schedules are only viewable moving forward. I think Loudoun's top team may have become weakened with the departure of players due to their loss of the DA.  Some of those players left for VDA.  With the loss of those players and having to pull the better players from the top CCL, the teams going from small sided to full field, that second team became naturally weaker.[/quote]

The past few years their second teams have not been as strong as expected from their large player pool.  I think Alexandria and SYC may be the teams to beat in the area outside of DA.  The Alexandria team may be better than some of the DA teams.[/quote]

We opened the season against SYA and I can argue that they might be the team to beat.  I don't know any of the families, but I can recognize some of the players by numbers and it doesn't seem like they have been hurt by DA/ECNL like our club.  [/quote]
