No one I should going to mention not dressing like a total slob and keeping up with grooming? There are so many sloppy, positively repulsive people who clearly have given up on themselves. I'm talking about parents I see at my kids games, at the gym, at work. I take pride in my appearance. I am vain. I whiten my teeth, visit the dentist, update my gym/errand/work wardrobes seasonally. See my hairdresser every 6 weeks for cut and color. Manicure to keep my hands looking neat and clean. I wear flattering clothes. I'm trying to stay hot! Hot for my age not looking like a teenager. It's work!
I am pretty vain, quite vain if I am being honest, but I draw the line at dressing up to look hot at my kid's sports events. Jeans, hat, a touch of mascara if you're lucky. But men like this low maintenance look- you might be surprised to find out that men like women who look like they can relax.
PP and I'm not going crazy and dressing sexy at my kids game. But I'm not rolling out of bed and arriving to the game, either. I'll wear casual clothes, maybe even a hat ( I'm vain and don't want wrinkles and sun spots), brush my hair, running shoes, etc. This look already puts me way ahead of the gross, fat slobs I see. My point is: I take pride in my appearance and like to look neat, clean and put together.
