There is a huge difference between divorced fathers and men that abandon their kids. Remember when being a single mother was a source of shame, not pride? If a couple gets divorced, but the father stays involved, it can be ok, but even then, you both failed, so do not be surprised when your kid fails too.[/quote]

How do you make the determination that a man has abandoned his kids so he should be red flagged?  And, as a PP pointed out, those abandoned kids should be red flagged, too.[/quote]

I guess just red flag them all? PP seems to think that anyone who isn't living with a father should be considered a risk.
