it IS *my* day! Mother’s work so, so hard. [b]It is a completely thankless job[/b], even if you have a wonderful and kind and attentive husband and kids. It is NICE to be recognized and appreciated. FOR ONE DAY.[/quote]

I've never felt like this before.  I have two kids.  Why do you do it if it's a completely thankless job?  Maybe the fact that I don't hate being a mother is why I don't care how or if I'm celebrated (or who else is celebrated) on Mother's Day.[/quote]
