Well at least it’s money from donors that isn’t being used to further the NRA’s violent agenda. www.wsj.com/amp/articles/leaked-letters-reveal-details-of-nra-chiefs-alleged-spending-11557597601
National Rifle Association Chief Executive Wayne LaPierre billed the group’s ad agency $39,000 for one day of shopping at a Beverly Hills clothing boutique, $18,300 for a car and driver in Europe and had the agency cover $13,800 in rent for a summer intern, according to newly revealed NRA internal documents. The documents, posted anonymously on the internet, provide new details of the clothing, travel and other expenses totaling more than $542,000 that Ackerman McQueen Inc. alleges Mr. LaPierre billed to it. The travel expenses allegedly include more than $200,000 in “Air Transportation” costs during a one-month period in late 2012 and early 2013, in part related to a two-week trip over Christmas to the Bahamas by Mr. LaPierre.

Ha ha ha ha. All the gun crazies will have a hard time defending that behavior.
Nope. Wayne's gotta go. The membership is in revolt, they won't stand for this stuff. On the various gun forums on the interwebz, there's a lot of anger about this. The two biggest gun blog sites (TFB and TAG) plus ARFCOM all have multiple daily postings about the scandal. Wayne is cooked. And the BoD is too, if they don't come out against him in the next few days. If this doesn't happen, the NRA will loose most of its members. They know this. I say he's gone within two weeks.
I’ll take that bet. They just re-elected LaPierre in April and most of these spending issues must have been known by then.
