That is appalling to punish a 3 year old for urinating in the wrong place, you would expect the teachers to have the kids go to the bathroom before heading outside to begin with, and regardless you would not punish the child or isolate her, you would just have a private little talk explaining out we don't do that here. Frankly, I could envision that possibly having to be done with an older child--just because bodily functions are so potentially embarrassing, best to assume ignorance on the part of the child and deal with potential other concerns later. And what do they do when a little kid has an accident? The more I think about it, the more riled I am that these people are allowed around children that age. [/quote]
