Getting him away from the area/friends is crucial and getting him help is second. Don't worry about school for now, you got to get him help first. He can always get a GED later, or if you find a place for him, he will finish school there.

Please take care of yourself, that is also a very, very important part of helping him. I'm in VA, and our court house has support groups for parents in situations like yourself. If not the courthouse, find another suppport group that can help your through this.
