I have two boys, now teenagers.  When they were little I was like you.  I had to get them out every day rain or shine or they would be bouncing off the walls.  We would go on play dates, to Grandma's house, the park, the playground, nature centers, rec centers, the mall, tunnels at fast food restaurants, Chuck E Cheese......you name it, we went there at least once.

It was a busy and sometimes exhausting time, but it was also a lot of fun.  I never really understood the SAHPs that hung out all day at home fall through spring and at the neighborhood pool during the summer. It seemed like such a rut day in and day out for them.  But I guess a lot depends on the personalities, interests and energy levels of your kids.  Just find one or two SAHMs who also like to get out and do things with their kids every day - makes a big difference.[/quote]
