They need to pay rent/mortgage (for their own homes), food for their kids, retirement savings, etc. too, just like everyone else. Why do you get paid so much? Why can't you lower your salary so a poor employer can hire you instead? What is the reason behind you wanting a salary high enough that your car isn't getting repossessed and your water shut off?[/quote]
