[/quote] Cohort doesn't matter as much for the regional CES because the catchment areas for each center are smaller and more homogenous than the MS magnet catchment areas. I found the report very interesting and hadn't seen it before so thanks to PP who posted it. [/quote] This is indisputable from a pure number standpoint because there are tons more seats for the CES program than MS magnets. There is also a wider diversity in the types of schools in the larger catchment area so the divide or gap between students admitted from different school is bigger. But make no mistake cohort was used for the CESes and it did make a big difference for some schools. You should feel free to call AEI or your principal if you have questions.[/quote]
