But there IS a male parallel! Haven't you ever heard someone called a d? And lots of people also use that word to refer to male genitalia.
I do know that word and it’s just not the same. Neither is c-ck. Neither of those are really a true parallel. The male c word is maybe more like the female p word, which is OK with me. The female c word is just different sorry.
Yeah, that's nice of you to say but you are going to have to explain it. You and the person that compared it to the "N" word are going to have to show your work. I'm not buying what you are selling.
S/he’s right about how these words are commonly used. In the US, the female c* word is much more crass than the male c* word when these are used anatomically (unless, obviously, both partners agree). And (maybe because) it’s on par with, or worse than, calling a woman a b* when referring to a person. The Brits use it more, but if you watch someone like Ricky Gervais do stand up, he doesn’t use it as a fond term of endearment. Also, nobody cares if you “buy what she’s selling,” but we will look down on you for using the female c* word freely.
Everyone keeps saying things like "much more crass". How so? Please explain.
What’s the point in continuing to explain to someone who seems to willfully not understand? Multiple people on this thread are saying the same thing. That this term iis pejorative in the extreme. That clearly shows it is not some obscure opinion and maybe you should take a step back and consider that. The closest male equivalent would maybe be pr!ck, in that it is also a term used almost exclusively in the US to refer to a person in a nagative manner. I’d contend it still doesn’t carry the same “stigma” if you will.
