Can anyone speak to how difficult it is to be accepted into the business school for an undergrad business major?
+1 I'd like to know this too. One of the downsides of UVA for a kid who's interested in business is how hard it is to get into Commerce. Is the issue less fraught with Mason School of Business at W&M?
W&M Mason is similar to UVA McIntire in that it is not a direct admit from high school. You apply in your second year at W&M. The profile below on Poets and Quants (probably the best online source on business schools) describes 212 applications and 136 admissions, which is a 64% admit rate in 2018. McIntire was 59% according to an online source I saw. https://poetsandquantsforundergrads.com/school-profile/college-william-mary-raymond-mason-school-business/
I should have added the URL where I found the McIntire information. https://www.commerce.virginia.edu/undergrad/application-process-uva
