It's just what I do b/c it was a tradition in my family. I got my girls chocolate, small mermaid sequin bags, and inexpensive birthstone necklaces. My mom sent them each a shirt and socks and some lip gloss as well as some of my old jewelry from childhood that I can pass on to them. She sent me a notepad and book.
