I would be just as uncomfortable with this, if not more so. But my kids are not involved in youth groups with co-ed retreats and mixed sleepovers so I have no experience. [/quote]

We had these all the time in my 150+ kid youth group. (Southern state) About 25 adult "chaperones" at the church and it was called a "Lock In"...there were two pool tables and a gym at the church, plus a game room for board games all night. We had pizza, then played volleyball and then stupid relay games in the gym, and then a midnight sundae bar...and they had room that was the "movie room" (it also doubled as the sleeping room for those who wanted to go to sleep...but most stayed up all night. There were rules for the movie/sleeping room: you had to be in a separate sleeping bag. No shared blankets, but could lie next to each other in adjacent sleeping bags) It was very supervised but very fun! And there weren't any "dark corners" or places you could go outside of the designated areas because all the other wings were locked. Some of my fav memories.

But would I allow a co-ed sleepover at someone's house for my 13 year old kid. No way.[/quote]
