It is really time to move on.  The kid is in college now, doing well.  Madlax is doing well.  Cabell is doing well.  People make mistakes.  Maddux made a mistake and the person who provided the emails to the public made a mistake.  It is really old news, and has no relevance anymore.  Maddux has graduated hundreds of players since this event and he has a lot of loyalty among them.  Many are friends with the kid in the emails, too.  Get over it and move on.[/quote]

That team went on to win the NPYLL against archrival Crabs.  They were loaded.  Trippi, Rock, Johnson, Smith, Peele.  All now playing in the Big10 or ACC.  A bunch of others playing in college, too. Keep living those glory years, dad.  You are actually talking about a MS game from 5+ years ago?  You swallowed your integrity and gave your money to a guy who threatens his own clients (many more besides the family in that email).  Some do the same, but many more have said they will not go to Madlax and pick one of the comparable/better options.

False equivalency - everyone makes mistakes so there's nothing to forgive and everything to forget? Interesting perspective and nice use of deflection and distraction. CM graduated hundreds of kids - so I guess the kids and parents had a minor role in that result? Looking at the vid, ML beat VLC by 1 goal and the Crabs by 2 goals 5 years ago with a loaded team. So totally worth overlooking lack of self-control and good judgment, especially if a motivational speech is what really made the difference in scoring off a face off - never be seen that in a game before. Don't need to beat a dead horse - great to forgive if bad behavior hasn't continued but let's not be unaware of what happened.[/quote]

Wow. Been watching this.  Really need to move on. This negativity will shorten your life.  If you have moral outrage, call the guy up and demand or request a meeting about his purported conduct.  Get it behind you. Don’t stew and post on a chat board anonymously to try to undermine the guy.  That’s not different in degree than what you claim he did.  You are becoming what you claim he is. This all really looks like parents who have kids who did not make his club’s team.
