Yes it is for next year, which begs the ? why are U12/2008s included when it was stated that is abolishing DA for U12 next year...and U13 the following year?

Feel free to read that how you want. They implemented the standards they wanted and now are backing off direct programming. Most likely they will do the same with U-13 in order to focus on direct programming for U-14 to U-19 teams.

Ummm, there is no GDA u12 group.   That memo, which hasn't been officially confirmed with a US Soccer origin (it's not on the DA site), has no relevance to the GDA.   There has been no discussion of "doing the same with u13" and it is not in any way likely.  Some folks need to stop posting their desires as facts.[/quote]
