Commute to DC absolutely sucks—as does the high school. Pass.
Once you have some work experience you can get jobs in the burbs, get out of soul sucking DC and join the land of the living.
Yes, that’s my dream as a lawyer: To work at a shitty 5-person law firm in the suburban hinterlands of Kentlands, with UMD and University of Baltimore grads
Good, then we don’t need you here. You sound like a massive jerk.
But...but you’re living the dream out there in Gaithersburg/Kentlands/Lakelands/The Boondocks. I envy you!
Not PP, but I honestly do. We would love to live in Kentlands or Lakelands but don't want a TH(only thing in our price range). We live nearby in Quince Orchard Park which goes to NWHS. We like it but I feel like we are definitely missing out on a lot not living there, with better schools and a better community. Also a lot of very wealthy families in there with kids driving new Mercedes and BMWs and Jeeps, so I am happy that DS won't experience that in our neighborhood or NW since he will be getting my old mini-van in a couple years. Everyone who lives there loves it.
