Op here. Yes that's very true. I got the young adult membership without even asking recently at the YMCA. Later on I went to add my child and childcare. I was shocked to find out that there was not an extra charge for childcare. My YMCA membership with childcare is $29. The person who signed me up was definitely in highschool. [/quote]

I worked for a popular nonprofit for 3 years and I hate to break it to you, but it was very, very wasteful with funds.  First of all, the CEOs and equal all had extremely high 6 and even 7 figure salaries.  LOTS spent on party planning and throwing parties.  We threw a few events where the amount we received in donations was just a couple of grand more than what was spent to throw the party.  Still a success, though, in their eyes.  Root beer float Mondays, Working Women Wednesday Happy Hours, local brewery Fridays... those are just a few of the things the money was spent on.   :roll:
