Vans are horrible for your feet!
Op here. How are vans horrible for your feet? High heels and ballet flats are horrible for your feet but my vans are very comfortable. I have less pain in my knees now that I have switched to vans or Brooks running shoes . What exactly am I supposed to wear to the playground? Clogs? Birkenstocks? Birkenstocks would look so silly on me. I am 5'4 and thin/ small frame.
I would think of 5’4” as fairly average height, not really petite. I think of 5’ or shorter when I think of petite.
Someone who is 5'4 and small boned could be considered petite. I get called tiny all the time and I am 5'4 with a long torso and thin.
I looked this up and 5’4” is exactly the average height for adult women. You may be very thin and people are referring to you as tiny in that respect, but being thin doesn’t make you appear shorter. Thin people frequently appear to be taller than they actually are. I’ve never heard the word petite used to refer to weight, I have only ever heard it used to refer to height. If anything, I’ve heard people use it as a polite euphemism for short. I’ve never heard an average or tall person referred to as petite, no matter how thin they might be.
