I have not seen the Post target anyone to this level before, and it seems really irresponsible. Based on this tread, it appears that this fearmongering is working, since I’m seeing the same exact verbatim arguments as there were in the Post.

And to the person who called Elrich “creepy”? Why? This blows my mind. He is a handsome and personable guy who is very approachable and honest and he cares about people and listens. I have not read what the Post says about Elrich. I’ve just lived in the heart of Elrich territory for a long time and I think he would take the county in the wrong direction. We need to stop driving people, businesses and revenue to DC and VA and Frederick County. [/quote]

Using a rich businessman as a bogeyman is a trope of both the far right and the far left these days. Maybe you’re not aware of that — I will give you the ne edit of the doubt. The PP seems to think Bezos hangs out at the Post telling the editorial page what to print. [/quote]
