Yes. Real tournaments will be on LI and in the North with hotels needed, not the Eastern shore and Baltimore... but he is in middle school that is fine for now.

You will play Fall, Winter (Box) and Summer for your club team... you should travel for 3 in the Fall, 2 in the Winter, and 4-6 in the Summer.

Your HS team (if it does not suck), will play in the Spring have 1 tournament in the Fall and 1-3 in the Summer.

Throw in 1-3 showcases a year between F and Junior year.

Private coaching from a qualified coach will be a minimum of $300/month, are you using a coach or a HS student. But I would only do that off season and not during summer unless you are a goalie. So not 12 months a year. [/quote]
