Was that even OP stating this is between a 500-600K job and the current 300-400k job?

If that was OP, NO. that is not worth it. Especially with 50-60% of it going to taxes and gov't. No way.

Now if it was a $1M+ income job with wealth potential and carried interest or you owned your own C-Corp or company and thus got less tax leakages, you could maybe have a debate. But not this ordinary income crap. YOU ARE WORKING 35 HOURS A WEEK FOR GOV'T TAXES AND 35 HOURS A WEEK FOR YOUR FAMILY PLUS YOU ARE NOT EVEN AROUND YOUR FAMILY. No way. [/quote]

I'm the $300k PP, and I am not the OP.  Sorry for the confusion.  FWIW, I completely agree that this is plenty of money to live off of.  That was kind of my point.[/quote]
