Not buying it. Don't believe in top test takers. The PSAT (along with SAT, GRE, MCAT, GMAT etc.) simply isn't a difficult test for the bright, hard-working and well-prepared. I got a perfect score from a mediocre public school as a FARMs student.
So your theory is that because the test was easy for you, every kid at Wilson should be in the top 1% of DC test takers? I'm assuming you are smart enough to see why that doesn't work. Also, if everyone got a perfect PSAT score, it would completely invalidate the test.
Don't put words in the PP's mouth Wilson absolutely should have at least one or two kids in the top 1% of DC test takers, like Walls and now BASIS. In fact, more years Wilson does. Come on, acing the PSAT isn't rocket science. Something's rotten at Wilson this year.
What a nasty comment. FWIW the average SAT score in Wilson was the highest in DCPS/Charters last year. Many students scored almost perfect in SAT.
Principal honors-for-none must be posting. In her mind 1180 is perfect.
Wilson usually posts the numbers fo the subgroup of kids who also take the SAT subject matter tests, so maybe she is thinking of the average for that group. It is usually quite high.
