Is or is NOT the one they signed up for?  I guess I'd find it somewhat unnerving if I lived near self-identified Republicans who told me with a smile on their face that they signed up for this nonsense.

Most Republicans in McLean (and it is mostly Democratic now, especially in the McLean HS areas) strike me as what used to be considered mainstream Republican, not MAGA types.

Oops! Major content typo. Sorry. *NOT* the one they signed up for. The republicans have been very clear in first meeting us that they did not agree with the current administration. (Which was a huge relief to us, since they have also been extremely friendly and neighborly to us.)
A lot of our neighbors are fed employees, retired military, medical professionals and diplomats. We also seem to have a high percentage of engineer. Some graphic designer/programmers as well. [/quote]
