It also sounds like maybe their registrar took the summer off or they strategically don't move their list during the summer. I guess doing it in the fall saves work in that they know for sure who will be there ... though, it seems very tough on families having to make late August choices.[/quote]

yes, and how nice to get families you know will stay since the lottery shuffle is over. I supect the spots were open earlier but it is easier with such a huge waitlist to just wait and so not bring families on board who leave in August when stokes or MV moves. BTW CMI got a lot of grief for 48 hour tunrarounds because they favor families with means. is no one gong to complain about 24 hours?[/quote]
