Just curious to see different perspective on this. I am sure some will say it is already happening.
Democrats abandoned their core constituency and imported millions of legal and illegal workers. They don’t care if low skilled workers get replaced or your kids can’t find jobs. Thei elites are doing fine. Republicans have always screwed workers. It is Hillary that had this election if only she had stopped supporting more and more immigration!!!!!! Democrats need a new generation of leaders focused on American workers.
This is a lie that Democrats want more immigration. It is the republicans who don’t want to make e-verify mandatory coz the GOP business groups and chamber of commerce groups can continue to cheat by using illegal labor pool.
This might be narrowly true, i.e. they don't campaign for a larger pool, but they clearly have their hands all over the current high levels of immigration, especially including the H1B program for their tech overlords.
H1B visas are a tiny pool that doesn’t change the labor market for tech at all. Heck H1B keeps the talent and taxes here instead of sending those very same jobs to india via internet. If an American says he lost his job die to h1B then he/she is just too lazy to learn new technologies. Period. H1Bs are also quid pro quo to India coz American companies like google, MS, CISCO, GE,Boeing, P&G, Ford etc make billions in India and creates millions of jobs in the US due to access to Indian market. This is globalization in action. US is the net beneficiary of globalization coz with only 5% of world market we can’t be doing much BUT globalization opens the other 95% of the world to our companies.
