At our school each teacher has their own policy. I know a parent with an education background who volunteered a lot in a very substantive way, but aside from that in our experience it has been classroom by classroom with some teachers not really welcoming classroom volunteers. Though my sense is that the parents who really wanted to volunteer regularly were able to make it happen. [/quote]
