Not OP... I don't find OP's post insulting to the "different cultures".  He/she is wondering what the atmosphere in W schools is like in terms of hyper-competitiveness. That doesn't mean OP doesn't value cultural diversity. Maybe OP doesn't want their DC to be in a pressure cooker environment and so is asking what it's really like in such schools.

I think it's because it's generally well known that schools with a lot of Asian Americans tend to be more hyper-competitive and have more over achievers.  As a group, they out perform all other groups.

PP here.. but  I find it ironic that when liberals say unPC things about Trumpsters, then that's being "mean" and "rude".   Sorry for the political side tracking.  And now back to the regular schedule program.[/quote]
