When I was last working in a trendy expensive restaurant 7 years ago, 85% of my tips were done on the credit card and therefore taxed. These days I bet it's even higher. Cash is on its death bed for 95% of consumers. The remaining 5% are old people and people who make money under the table in cash businesses (strippers, drug dealers, undocumented workers, small biz owners skimming, etc.)[/quote]
