I'm quite certain she used a donor egg, so the odds of a Down Syndrome baby are the same as if she were twenty-something. It may surprise you to know that there are 50+ year old women carrying pregnancies to term regularly, due to advances in the use of donor egg. There's no reason to believe the pregnancy will be anything but normal and go full-term. [/quote]
