Is anyone checking to make sure none of their employees are out walking dogs or waitering for a catering company? I mean I don’t care if they apply or not. I’m at FDA - [b]I don’t need some ethics bureaucrats telling me what I can and can’t do[/b]. I know my job enough to know I wouldn’t pick up a side gig for any medical company, editing articles for medical journals etc. But if I want to work for a catering co 1 weekend a month at a wedding, I don’t need some bureaucrat saying no just bc he can or just bc it’s easier to say no than to research it, approve it and do the appropriate paperwork — which I’ve seen happen before.[/quote]
