[/quote] They may be dropping PARCC, but there's no way that states are going to drop ALL standardized testing. It's actually really important that schools be able to assess how well children are learning on a standardized basis. I know there are concerns about PARCC and how the standardized test scores are used, but I find it incredibly privileged and uncooperative to act like your children are too good to take part in a system that helps the school assess whether it's working for all kids.
