The fact that employers use having a BA degree as a requirement for ordinary jobs is wrong. But I think we're in the middle of a huge, expensive media campaign against four-year colleges, and especially in-person humanities classes, because organizations that like to manipulate us realize that the humanities give us a little protection against manipulation.
