Yes, sadly, that would illicit a reaction, or anything to do with Muslims would too, but not Jews or Christians, whatever race the Christians are.  Christians in Africa and the ME suffer enormously, but it’s not really deemed newsworthy.  Same with Ahmadis.  I’m the atheist PP, and I don’t understand why some religions are protected and stood up for more than others.  I personally think Religion is silly, but I believe truly in their right to believe as they do and live safely, as long as they are not harming others!![/quote]
Yep.  Look at what 17:37 had to say. Jews who stand up to antisemitism are now castigated as having a "victim mentality." It's like some people want free reign to dump on Jews, and will quickly hammer away on Jews who object to bigotry against them, but can you imagine if someone said it's time for blacks and Muslims (or whatever minority) to drop the victim mentality?

There is a very different standard for antisemitism, and it seems to be one of accepting it with one's mouth shut - or else. And the ironic thing is that a thread about a Farrakhan foot soldier's hate speech, and the city official who enabled him, are turned around to more complaints about the Jews.[/quote]
