John Vihstadt needs to run on that. 
We could take the millions in the affordable housing fund and put it toward another elementary school.
We have money, but our priorities are all out of whack.
AND DONT BLAME FAMILES FOR MOVING TO ARLINGTON. As a county we’ve done everything in our power to stick it to Fairfax and elsewhere when it comes to moving people efficiently into DC. We wasted (another) fortune fighting 395 hot lanes- a battle we lost. 66 is another mess partially of our own making. We cancelled the street car- lots of people were against it, because it would serve ffx. Yes, it would have moved many people from Fairfax through Arlington. Now, they will look to live in Arlington. 
State politics will NEVER let us exercise extreme use of imminent domain. The state legislature fvcking HATES US. They hate our hippy, granola, “progressive”, immigrant loving, hypocritical nimby asses. THEY HATE US.[/quote]
