Do you find you have nothing in common with them? I am asking because I find that somehow the conversation always comes back to them talking about their very specific interest just assuming other people are just as interested in it. I couldn't imagine going on and on about a particular interest to other people as if they care. Like if I go to a new friends house and see pictures/toys in the box etc... of something like Star Wars or Harry Potter I am turned off. I feel similarly about adults who play video games. By adults I'm referring to people like 30 and up. Is it just me?? I mean it's Juvenial and weird.
My husband and I both love to play video games. It's a fun way to let off steam after we've been busy. I like that games present different problem solving and skill based challenges. It requires more active thinking than just passively watching TV (which we also enjoy too)
Did you guys meet in an online chat room?
