Many times Murch had few working toilets and water that barely ran. When I say few I mean ltimed when there were 4 working toilets for almost 700 kids including special ed kids. When the unisex staff toilet (one toilet for the entire staff) was broken they would have to close one kid bathroom for staff use only. This happened for years. Guess what. Everyone survived, the school day went on and they made it work. No walkout. No news stories.
Last year, there was a time when the water pressure at Deal was low and so toilets weren't flushing, guess what - they sent the children home for the day and fixed it? Let's stop making excuses, if the situation wasn't bad, the Chancellor wouldn't have gone over there. We are talking about teenagers at Anacostia, the teachers and hard-working students at that school put up with so much bullish## and disrespect every day, respect!
