We also didn't get into any school. Both my PK3 and K children are waitlisted on all our options. My K has no chance of getting in anywhere and my PK3 has waitlist position #12 for Creative Minds, which I'm hoping this means we have an actual shot of getting in...but who knows?
How can you not get into K? what's your IB?
Sorry, I meant my K didn't get into any of our 12 picks using the lottery (mostly bilingual schools since I'm Latina). We do have Eaton as in boundary so that's where she's going to go...
Cry me a freakin' river.
Do you also say this to those who are already at a desirable school EOTP but lottery because they want immersion, like the PP? Or do you reserve your resentment for people WOTP?
I say this to people who have an excellent in-bound option and are on a public board complaining that they didn't get into some other specific school. I don't "resent" the PP complaining about not getting in anywhere, I just think it's a stupid complaint. And I'd think it was a stupid complaint from anyone in a good charter or public EOTP or whatever. I mean, yeah, feel sad that you didn't get exactly what you wanted, but your kid will be going to an excellent elementary school. Have some perspective.
