13th https://www.usnews.com/news/best-states/rankings
Can you read? Overall MD ranks 13 but it ranks 31 out of 50 in the quality of life category.
Ahhh. Yikes Va is 41st. 9th worst in the country.
You can find a poll/ study to tell you anything. But when there are annual studies of which state states are the “richest”, as in has the most income per capital or most taxes collected per capita (and hence more money to spend on infrastructure, schools, programs, etc) Maryland is consistently in the top 5, usually top 3 and Virginia is consistently in top 10. Ever drive across 95 or 85 south into NC or 81 into TN and see how the roads change immediately, trash on side of the road, etc. Those quality of life studies are so subjective, but numbers are what they are.
LOL!!!!!!! Let’s check out state-to-state migration patterns, shall we?
