No he was quiet.  His screams got worse because the mother tried to change behavior.  This kid obviously has serious delays.  And people are being very cruel to him and his parents.  Flying obviously stressed the heck out of him.

When a child has developmental delays and neurological issues to that degree, then preparations need to be made by consulting the family doctor, etc. OR not take the trip. Even if you think the passengers don't count, consider what the trip was like for the child. TRAUMATIC.[/quote]

+1  Sometimes you have to make the hard choices, like not traveling.   And why are people just assuming he has SN?  The article didn't indicate that at all, and the parents could've at least apologized to people.

I have flown with my young children. I remember on this one flight, a toddler was screaming and my DD (18 mo at the time) was not feeling well and was trying to sleep.  The parents saw me holding her and trying to get her sleep, and they mouthed to me "I'm so sorry".  [/quote]
